Chapter 11
A New Life
Brian woke with a start and noticed he was not dead. In fact, he had never felt more alive. The world around him seemed to be sharper, more refined. His heart was beating an allegro rhythm. Then, he noticed that he could hear his heartbeat. Slowly, he sat up and took in his surroundings.
He was in a small, dismal room. Dust coated the cheap, wooden furniture. In fact, he could count the individual dust mites that accumulated everywhere. Above him, a ceiling fan let out a steady whir.
"Finally," Sarah exclaimed, "You're awake!"
She flung herself onto Brian and kissed him passionately, to which

I pulled my clothes around me tighter to get rid of the chill that had set over me. Needless to say, it didn't work. Tremors, rocked my wiry frame as I shivered from the Winter night. I had no coat or cloak to stay the cold.
Sensing my discomfort, Eridor sidled up next to me and curled around me. His fur coated mass was like a blanket, stopping the cold in its path. Beside me, Unalae slept soundly. A lock of her raven hair hung in her face. I reached over to brushed it back and studied her features.
Her face was angled and elegant, like a cat's. Her soft skin was as pale as the crescent

Chapter 2: Escape
I packed up what little possessions I owned. Among them was a locket of my mother's. I opened the locket for what seemed like the millionth time. Inside was a curious red gem. It seemed to radiate its own light, like a fire was lit behind it. I caressed the stone, it gave off heat. As my finger touched it, it seemed to glow brighter and get warmer.
I put the chain around my neck and tucked the locket under my tunic, feeling oddly protective of it. I felt the heat against my pale skin. I put the remainder of my possessions in a traveling pack and slung it across my back.
I looked out the wind

Stop thief!
Those two words are the words I hear most of the time. Today, my prize was a loaf of bread and two apples. I quickly tucked the food in my shirt and started running.
The cold, Winter wind blew my thick, brown-black hair into a jumbled mess. I slid between the legs of a horse, causing it to rear up and throw its rider through the air. I slipped into the nearest alley and hid behind some bags of oats. I grinned roguishly as the Guards passed by me, shouting.
Silently, I slid from my hiding place and stepped around the corner, only to come face-to-face with a particula

Reunion
After a week of relaxation, the group decided to head to Ronda, a village on the southern tip of Spain. Brian bought a new car to accommodate four passengers. Soon the group was headed South in brand new Ferrari 546 GT.
They began the long six hour drive to the province of Malaga. Once there they checked into the Hotel Molino de Santo. Again, Sarah and Brian would be sharing a room, while Brianna and Seth would room together.
Brian noticed that Seth and Brianna had been spending a lot more time together. He mentioned this to Sarah.
They're probably just getting to know each other better,&

Enter: Samuel Verbannt
In Moscow, snow was heavily falling on Samuel Verbannt as he strolled down a street. He didn't seem to mind the white crystals collecting on his fur coat. His silver hair was cut short to show his strong face. He was a well-built man, with broad shoulders, a strong chest, and a purposeful stride. He had the air of importance, his demeanor seemed to emit an aura.
Around him the busy city streets were bustling with people. He smiled at the people running about, running errands. They were so oblivious to what he was, to them he was an honest lawyer from Germany. He looked at the dark clouds gathering above

A Fortunate Meeting
Sarah awoke in a lavish bedroom. The walls were painted midnight blue with a ancient text, written in gold, wrapping its way around in fantastic shapes. The bed that Sarah laid in was as soft as sleeping on a cloud. The sheets that covered her was as black as night. Her head rested on a black velvet pillow. The frame of the bed was wrought in iron, studded with black iron roses. Heavy drapes covered the Gothic style windows. She pulled her legs over the side of the bed and tried to stand up. When she did, she fell back onto the bed.
Eventually she stood up on the black carpet, and made her way thr

A New Enemy or Friend?
In the morning Sarah and Brian woke up, both were thinking about what had happened the previous night. Sarah found the news very troubling. If Brian had vampire blood in his viens, could that mean that Xavier would come after him too? Sarah shook her head to clear her thoughts I can't be falling for him, could I?
Brian got no sleep in the armchair, but being uncomfortable had nothing to do with it. He went over his entire life, thinking why he had to live through eternity alone. He left the hotel at midnight and took his car to a repair shop and brought it back with a new paint job and tags. The

A New Friend
When Sarah woke, she was alone. She got up and stretched, then she noticed the note on the plasma screen. She took it of and read:
Sarah, I went downstairs to get some breakfast. Please come join me when you wake.
Sincerely,
Brian
She threw the note in the garbage and got dressed. She put on a very nice red blouse that complimented her pale skin. She slipped into a new pair of dark blue jeans and put on her new black leather knee high boots. She walked out into the hall and went to the elevator and pushed the ground floor button. When the doors opened she saw Brian at a table

One More Down
Xavier Caravel walked out of the Fiumicino Airport in Rome. His destination, Vatican City. There was business to attend to, deadly business. As he got into his black Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, he thought of his next target, a Catholic priest named Miguel Ghiaccio. This was going to be an interesting fight. Xavier smiled as he entered the Vatican Gardens. The beautiful trees and statues surrounded him. The smell of sweet flowers and fresh cut grass permeated the air. Truly, this was the apex of beauty. On the top of Vatican Hill, stood his target. Surely, it wasn't this easy.
Xavier walked slowly up the hill, th

Hey everyone. If anyone still looks out for my submissions, I'm rebooting Eopia. The prologue is up and ready. For my members of the Hunt....I will no longer be writing it.
Guess who's back? Me! I'm introducing a new story, Through the Scope. But, more importantly...The Hunt will be making its return very soon. Sorry I've been away for so long, but I've been focusing on other things. Let me know what you guys think. Its good to be back.
Hey! I was just wondering if you guys had ever got around to uploading that demo of Don't Walk, Fly" to your myspace yet? Haven't heard from you in a long while, so I wasn't even sure if you still were using the song at all.
No. The band has been apart for a little while. I had to re-write the music anyway. Been hard at work on it. Don't worry though, we'll put it on our first EP.
